# Make a looping tweet video

Anywhere video autoplays — Reels, Shorts, TikTok, an embedded WebM — it loops, and a clip that animates in and then stops has a visible jolt every time it restarts. Continuous motion hides the seam because there is no static end state to snap away from.

## How it works

1. Paste the link to the post.
1. Keep Loop switched on and the ken-burns drift running.
1. Leave the fade on so the last frame meets the first cleanly.
1. Press Render video, then download the looping MP4.

The Ken Burns preset is the one that loops most cleanly here, drifting and zooming throughout rather than settling. Combined with the loop flag, that gives a clip which can play indefinitely without an obvious cut point.

### Does the loop flag matter for MP4?

For GIF it is written into the file. For MP4 looping is decided by the player, so social platforms loop it regardless.

### How long should a looping clip be?

Long enough to read the tweet at least once, around 8 seconds. Shorter loops get repetitive quickly.
