Turn a tweet into a TikTok video
TikTok re-encodes every upload hard, and small text is the first casualty. The defence is to give the encoder clean, high-contrast, generously sized type to begin with — which is what rebuilding the card at full resolution does, and what a phone screenshot dragged into an editor cannot.
This page uses a solid dark background rather than a gradient, because banding in a smooth gradient is exactly the artefact TikTok's compression exaggerates. The motion preset is a slow push, which compresses better than fast movement.
