# Turn a tweet into a video for X

Posting a tweet as a video back to X sounds circular, but it is how quote-commentary and screenshot threads actually travel: video autoplays in the timeline while a link needs a tap, so the content gets seen without a click.

## How it works

1. Paste the link to the post.
1. Keep the 16:9 canvas and the black background.
1. Adjust the slide-up motion and the 5-second length.
1. Press Render video, then download the MP4 and post it back to X.

### What are X's video upload limits?

Up to 2 minutes 20 seconds for most accounts, 512MB, H.264 MP4. A short tweet animation is far inside all of those.

### Does the video need audio?

No. X plays silent video without complaint, and timeline autoplay is muted anyway.

### Why 16:9 rather than vertical?

X crops tall video in the timeline card. 16:9 displays in full without cropping.
