Turn a tweet into a video
A tweet cannot be posted to Reels, Shorts or TikTok — those surfaces want a video file. Paste the link and you get one: MP4 for anywhere, GIF for chats and forums, WebM for the web, with the tweet animated in rather than sitting on the timeline as an upscaled screenshot.
Pick a motion preset, a length and an aspect ratio, then render. A few seconds later the file is in your downloads, at full length and full quality, with nothing stamped on the frame.
Questions
- Do I need an account?
- No. The web tool is free to use and needs no signup. The paid plans cover the API, for rendering tweets from your own code.
- Does the video have a watermark?
- No. The output is clean, and nothing is added to the frame that you did not configure.
- Which browsers can make MP4 files?
- Chrome, Edge and Safari 16.4 or newer, via the WebCodecs video encoder. Older browsers fall back to WebM automatically and the tool tells you when that happens.
- How long can the video be?
- Up to 30 seconds. Longer clips take proportionally longer to encode, and most social destinations re-compress anything longer anyway.
