Make a Dim mode tweet image
Dim is X's middle theme: navy #15202b rather than pure black, with softer contrast that most desktop users prefer for long reading sessions. It is the theme most people actually have enabled, and most screenshot tools do not offer it at all.

The card keeps the author's name, handle and timestamp so your export credits them. The post itself still belongs to whoever wrote it, so check you have the right to reuse it before you publish.
Because it is a mid-tone rather than pure black, Dim also composites well onto coloured backgrounds where true black would look like a hole cut in the design.
Questions
- What is X's Dim theme colour?
- #15202b for the background with #f7f9f9 text and #38444d borders.
- Dim or Lights Out?
- Dim for desktop screenshots and coloured backgrounds; Lights Out for OLED phones and anything sitting on black.
- Does the surround have to match the card?
- No, but matching it here makes the card read as one continuous panel rather than a card floating on a different colour.
