Export a tweet at 4K
If the image is going into a 4K video timeline, onto a large display, or into print, a 1080p export has to be upscaled and the text goes soft. Rendering the card at 4x from the start means there is real detail rather than interpolated pixels.

The card keeps the author's name, handle and timestamp so your export credits them. The post itself still belongs to whoever wrote it, so check you have the right to reuse it before you publish.
This is the heaviest preset here and it is the one most likely to be reduced on a phone: a 16:9 frame at 4x is over eight million pixels, and mobile Safari will refuse a canvas much larger. The tool downscales and tells you when that happens rather than failing.

- What resolution is a 4K export?
- 3840 by 2160 for 16:9. The tool reduces it if your device cannot allocate a canvas that large, and says so in the status line.
- Do I need 4K for social media?
- No. Every platform re-compresses to 1080p or less. 4K is for video timelines, large displays and print.
- Why did my export come out smaller than 4K?
- Mobile browsers cap canvas size. The tool scales down to fit rather than crashing, and reports the reduction.
