Pinterest rewards tall images. Its feed is a masonry grid, so a vertical Pin simply occupies more screen than a square one and gets noticed more, which is why Pinterest's own guidance is a 2:3 ratio. Anything landscape is visually buried.

- 2:3, for example 1000 by 1500. This page uses 4:5, which is close and never gets truncated in the feed.
- Do vertical Pins really perform better?
- They take up more room in a masonry feed, which is most of the advantage. Landscape images are visually skipped.
- Can I add a title overlay to the Pin?
- Not in this tool. Export the card and add text in a Pin editor if you need a headline over it.
